I feel silly even posting this...

5 girls 3.5 years old and 11 same age as the cockerels.

Im going to get another round of chicks in the spring, so another 6-10 hens eventually
If you can keep one or both cockereld he/ they can fertilize the hens in spring. If you have a broody hen in spring you don’t have to buy new chicks. Natural breeding is a wonderful experience. :love

As long as one is prepared for the extra cockerels that will hatch.
 
Just a little update!

Both boys have been overall very docile and sweet, but they did start to compete over the girls. We ended up rehoming this gentleman to a flock where they want to hatch out babies.

We kept the Beta and he's sweet as can be and barely crows. Hoping it will continue that way (I've purchased the no-crow collar too).
