I have had terrible luck hatching shipped eggs but i finally got a decent hatch. I ordered a dozen each of mottled houdan bantams and lavender cochin bantams.
8 Mottled houdan babies. 1 pipped and died.

Congrats Danny, how far did they come? What state did they come from? I get so frustrated in shipped eggs as the postal folks really do a number on them. I am so very happy for you!!!

The houdans came from Salem, Oregon and the lavender cochins came from Madisonville, Kentucky to Georgia.

It was pretty simple wrapped in paper towels and in regular 30 count egg flats. The egg flat are the exact same size as the priority mail boxes. They put some wadded up newspapers on the bottom then put in an egg flat put the eggs in the center holes then capped another egg flat on top and packed newspapers in very snuggly. It seemed to work great but maybe they just didn't suffer as much abuse by post office as the others.
