I FINALLY have a diagnosis - I have been confused

My pulse is faster than normal - not irregluar though. Stays right around 100.

well tell your doctor anyways, just to be safe...maybe he has you 2 high a dose...or something...

I am afraid to type it out how stupid I am. I finally looked up everything online at webmd.com and called the office. The inhaler called Proventil is also albuterol and I didn't know that. I thought it was a maintenance drug - IT IS NOT. Advair is the maintenance drug. I have two inhalers so I can have one at home and one in my purse.

Color me stupid.

The albuterol makes my pulse race and I shake...very much. On a day when I really really cant breathe, the albuterol doesnt give me the shakes or nothing- no matter how many hits of that inhaler I do. On a moderate day, oooh I vibrate.

I have stopped vibrating, finally, and my pulse is getting back to normal. Man! I could have killed mysef! I need to scold my doc for not paying more attention.

I always feel shaky when I take my first dose of albuteral after not having needed it for a while. Your body will acclimate to it.

THANK GOD it was a mild heart attack, but it scared him enough that he quit smoking cold turkey. I'm very happy to say that I had dinner with my parents tonight. I've had 16 more years with my Dad that may not have been possible to have with him had he not been scared into quitting smoking.
