Skullcap Puffball. Really. Edible, but not very tasty. It grows all over our area, I went nuts once and wandered the neighborhood picking them, but they don't taste like much and son claims they made him sick. I didn't like the taste enough to eat them again.

While we're on the subject, can you tell me if these are safe to eat? The puppy ate his own weight in them before I caught him but is still alive. He doesn't need any more brains 'cause he's already too smart for his own good. It's the chooks and the horses I'm worried about. Thanks!
