I apologize I am new at this, but I live in an area where we have ducks all over the place. I friend of mine was telling me when she was leaving for work she noticed one of her ducky teenagers was laying underneath a tree not moving much. I told her I would check it out on my way home. Sure enough the duck was still there, and when i approached her she was laying down with her foot extended out form under her body, of course got scared but could not run just flopped around. I picked her up she was covered in ants and brought her home with me. I filled up the tub with water and put her in it and she still has not moved her foot. I'm not sure If she has swelling or not I can't really get a good look. I know she is scared and I'm trying not to make the situation worse for her. She drank a little water and I threw some koi pellets in the water but she doesn't seem interested she tried them then spit them back out. I'm not sure what to do for her I don't like to see any animal like this.

Hi, you might try posting in the duck forum. You might get more responses there.

Do you have a crate that you can put her in with food and water for now until you can figure out what is wrong with her? Do you still think her leg is broken or could she be suffering from a nutrition deficiency? A deficiency can also cause lameness.

I have her contained, she's been eating pretty well she loved the eggs I fixed, and I gave her some brewers yeast w her food, I can't really afford to bring her to a vet but I'm almost positive her leg is broken it looks as though she was attacked by something. She is still a young duck and she is missing a lot of her newer feathers. I am going to go to the feed store to see if they have anything I can give her. Any advice would be appreciated.
