Greetings everyone! 3 days ago, while walking my dog near the river in my backyard, I found an egg! I am assuming that it's a duck egg, after researching a lot, i've started incubating it, today is the 3rd day and I have decided to candle the little treasure, as I am not a professional, I wanted to know what you guys think and if it looks like a fertilized egg or not, also if you have any tips and tricks for me it would be awesome! Thank you so much!!

You found an egg near your backyard?

You sure you don't have any chickens or ducks in your area?

Anyway, I'm assuming you have a proper incubator going?

It looks like something's in there but then again, I'm no expert on duck eggs.

All I can say is you need to turn the egg every few hours to have it hatch properly.
And make sure it has good ventilation so to maintain good temperature.
Don't want it to be too hot or too cold.
The temp should at least be 99.5• F if I'm not mistaken.
Perhaps someone else can offer you more tips.

Good luck with your new egg! :)

Yes, near my river and there is always ducks coming around the area, no chickens around. I am keeping the temperature at 99.5 and spraying some water every now and then, I heard that the humidity has to be around 80%? Thats what I am not sure about, thanks for the quick response!:):)
