Yes sunflower seeds are good for them. I give them to mine nearly everyday for scratch and they love em. I read it helps egg laying but can't confirm that.

Tried celery again. They ate it this time. Wouldn't the last time. Silly girls! Gave them some more yogurt, they went crazy over it!

I tried celery but they weren't all fired up about it. I stick with lettuce and sunflower seeds for treats but I am seeing some others i will try.

Threw in a pomegranate yesterday that I cut in half. They left the shell. Looks like it was a hit!

What is a flock block?

A flock Block is a huge cube of a variety of seeds held together with "something". My area carries Purina Brand. There are some great home made recipes for flock block on here... I will try to dig up a link or two.
