I gave my chickens today...........................................

mine go crazy for cilantro
they also love uncooked oatmeal
I gave them the water from when I steamed broccoli (cooled off of course) and they drank up like there was no tomorrow.

They seem to be getting a little more friendly when I approach these days.
They are 9 weeks old now. :) so much fun.

The usual feeder full of layer feed...its been chilly so I've been giving them a little scratch and today I gave them oatmeal and some plain yogurt....I make a really good strawberry and honey yogurt any one know if they can have honey? I've never given it because I wasn't sure.

Nine weeks!!! I loved my chickens when they were nine weeks. And I still do LOVE them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought a small container of Greek yogurt to mix with the crumbles this morning. It was a little cold and snowy, so I warmed the yogurt up a bit before mixing. I do believe I am on the verge of spoiling these girlies. They are thanking me by giving me eggs!
