I have 3 red sex-link hens that are 7 months old. I have been getting 2 eggs that are between medium and large size eggs for several months now. But this morning I received a "JUMBO" weighing in at 2.51 oz. That was just huge compared to my girls other eggs. It almost liked like it doubled in size. I don't know which one layed this one but I am so proud of who ever did.

I've gotta a huge egg before, which had a double yolk. You can't hatch them though.. [IMG]

Have you cracked it open yet? I have a hen (don't know which one) that lays a huge egg occasionally. The big ones are always double-yolks. It's cool to crack them open and find two yolks inside. [IMG]
