I got my black lab when he was about 4 weeks I think. He was a very quick learner and is a very smart boy

I couldn't ask for a better dog. I've trained a border as well, they are tough pups. Very hyper but also very lovable. She sounds like she could grow into the perfect pet.

Some people think 4 weeks is too young but I think they should start learning early. It really helps when training. By 2 months old, he could sit, lay give each paw, give kisses on command, and balance a treat on his nose and not touch until told he could.

Now Ace is an 8 year old chicken wrangler

And has even adopted chicks temporarily and "helped" raise them.
