Do I need to go to the post office and give them my phone # so they can call me when they arrive? Why wouldn't they just deliver them to my house?

scoop, from what i can find out some p.o. won't deliver to house. I'ts also better to pick them up so you can get them home and warm asap..don't want them riding in a postal truck half a day.
