~I got my first egg today!~

Today, one of my Austrolorp hens laid an egg! A pretty little brown one, and boy is it cute!

My family and I are absolutely happy!

Maybe a bit too much.

We were afraid that our hens would be laying late this year, because they might've been stressed from the heat over the summer.

He likes to get messy with them.
