I got my First Goose Egg Today !!! Update: Got Veining !!!

I don't know who it came from, either my Roman Tufted or the other female, or my Sebbies !!!!! It's huge. I've only seen my Canadians egg, and she thinks she a dog so they are never fertile. In to the bator it went....... now the wait.........

Awesome!! I take it your geese are not seperated so you can breed a true bred goose? I was thinking about getting white china and Toulouse, but i can't decide on which and i want to have purebred babies, so I can only have one or the other...isn't this early for them to start laying?

My Roman Tufted do not associate with my Sebbies but do include a mixed goose. They all have their own little clicks. 4 sebbies are in one, 3 in another, the RT & the odd ball and then my Canadian that thinks she's a GP dog..... so it is either a Sebbi from one of those 2 groups or a RT, or RT mix...... LOL

CONGRATS I found my first nest of them about a month ago and put them in the bator but thermoter went mid way and one exploded and all others were not good but now she has a new nest of 8 and she is etting on them. so we will see if they make it...don't they knowit is not spring yet
