I got my first polish egg!!!!

Cool, made ya wanna go look huh, lol!!! Congrats, her egg was bigger than I expected but it is a nice size and good size for hatching. Babies should have room to grow and this is just her first egg!!!!

You know peeps,

I have read that polish lay somewhat small eggs, but the first one I got from my silver laced pullet was actually pretty good size.
I had set myself up to expect small eggs and I was pretty amazed at the size of the first one. And the little girl has laid every other day since the 1st one about 2 weeks ago.

Yeah, most people are worried that pullet eggs aren't "safe" to incubate but if that little polish lays eggs much bigger she'll not be able to get it out, lol.

She layed another egg today, unless the other polish layed it but I doubt it. Thats awesome, she's even laying in the nest boxes I put in there.


P.S. The other day I slept from 7:30am to like 3:30pm because I was sick and I dreamed that one of my polish hatched out like 200 chicks!!! They were everywhere, lol.
