i know they would try to eat my fingers and they weren't in the feeder! LOLOLOLOL

i had a bit of a time trying to keep them in the pen this morning. i opened it to get their feed and waterer and they all started running out the door! once they got out the door, they seem to get lost and didn't know what to do, but they wanted out. i rounded them up and back in they went and started eating their feed and drinking their water. i tell ya, they are cute little guys.

LOL - they do pick at my hands too. Glad you got them all rounded up. They are FAST and hard to catch! 3 weeks old today and almost fully-feathered. Absolutely amazing how fast they grow.

They look so good!! Fat ,healthy, active, nothing like the cornishx!!!

I threw a piece of you grass in to them, and 1 RAN and grabbed it, like the other chicks do. Then I put a handful in, and they acted like it was radioactive!! I think they eventually picked at it.

I am ordering more of them!!

How old are yours? Have you ever "done the deed"? I haven't and this probably sounds horrible, but I am looking forward to trying it. Everyone thinks I can't do it but I think I can I think I can LOL.

I've decided that if I can do it, then I will order more. If not, then I'll stick with the layers.

definitely, me too. if i get these guys sold this weekend, i'll be calling her to get on her list for another 50. thank goodness her minimum is no longer 100. they're really enjoyable to grow since they have so little problems.

I want to see pix!!! I saw some before, but now you guys REALLY have me wanting some...but I'd want them as pets and to breed....and use some as meat birds.

They breed two different kinds together to get these. I don't know what kinds, one might be a cornish. So if they do lay eggs, it won't be a FR, it will be one type of the original pair. Just like hybrid plants! Now we've got hybrid chickens. Science is a wonderful thing...
