I GOT MY SEBASTAPOL EGGS - PIC'S!!!!!!

I have heard so many people do good with waterfowl and the Sportsmans but I never did have good luck. Mine would always get about 2 weeks into the development then would just die. My duck eggs were the worst. I wonder if maybe they get turned too often in the Sportsman....? But I have known people that have fine results with them

See, that's what I mean. I hand turn my waterfowl 2X's a day and sometimes will totally forget to turn at all. And they pop like popcorn. I put them in the big bator where they turn religiously and they all die...

I have heard those redwood incubators were great - never seen one tho! We thought we were the cats "meow" when we got our used Sportsman and I'll have to say it stays right on at 99.5 and humidity at around 55%.

Yeah, maybe it's because they (the moms) don't get off the nest & jostle the eggs as much?? I'm not sure...

GRAPHIC PICS - I looked at the four eggs and one was possibly 2 weeks into development - the other three were probably 2 weeks from hatching? I really don't know but well formed but lots of yolk and stuff - I took pic's - I really hate it when they just die like this - check these out and let me know what you all think - maybe we can learn something.

The one died very early.

It looks as if one died right before hatching and the other two a week or so before hatching.

With all the liquid in there, I think your humidity was way too high. They have to dry out a little or they will drown when the pip.
