I got the blues

Sumatra, and a very beautiful one at that.

Next time I add some chickens, I'm going to try for some Blue Orps or some Blue Andalusians.

Hate to rain on anyone's parade, but Sumatras don't have straight combs; they have pea combs. And that little girl definitely has a straight comb.

Correct, but it's called a single comb not a straight comb. Also if you look at the picture of the actual Sumatra in the show cage you'll note that the tail carraige is quite different. The pullet in the OP is an Andalusian.

SumatraX
her face is dark and her comb is single,
but the comb is very small and she has small to nonexistent wattles (traits of Sumatras)

Ah then its all the more plausable that she's a sumatraX, but that being said she would have been crossed with a similier looking breed like Andalusians, and judging by the barley-off color in her neck feathers-probubly somwhere as far down the line as her great grandparent. with a face like hers i can give a BREEDER's garentee-that is, my uncle hatches , raises, sells and fights black and blue sumatra's (as inhumane as it may be) i have spent many a childhood hour playing with my friends in S.C. cock Pitts (before i was old enough to understand the gravity of the situation)so i can give you a garentee that that bird at least has sumatra in it; http://www.feathersite.com/Poultry/CGP/Sumatra/BRKSumatras.html besides this is what andalusions look like, most often with black crested feathers; http://www.feathersite.com/Poultry/CGA/Andal/BRKAndalusians.html

So with all due respect, Dont worry, youre not.

Unbelievaable-there is nothing at all about this bird that would suggest that she's a Sumatra. The comb is wrong & the type is wrong. The length of the leg is wrong. The shape uf the beak is wrong. Angle of the back is wrong. Tail carraige is wrong. These are the things that define a breed. All blue chickens [not including self blue or lavender] have thoce dark laced blue feathers, or at least they should have. The Andalusian pictures from Feathersite show mature birds-this is a young pullet which is why her face & comb appear dark. Believe me, as she matures her comb will grow and redden.
I raised Andalusians for years and sold my entire flock to Superior Hatchery 2 years ago. This is an Andalusian!

Thank you for the insight, but next time maybe be a little less harsh. I for one know that not everyone, including me, is an expert on sumatras and/or andalusians like you seem to be. We were all guessing, so please try to be a little more understanding next time...

I dont come to this site to argue with anyone about other peoples chickens, obviously we both have breeder backround, and you Wouldve made some good points IF i wouldve said "she is a purebred sumatra" but i didnt, i said she looks like to a SumatraX-that means shes mixed somwhere down the line.
nothing on a MIX will look like the standerd. there is no wrong way for a mix to look.
The blue hen in the pic is a Polish/silkie a good friend of mine once owned, pilkish the broody
