I got the blues

Correct, but it's called a single comb not a straight comb. Also if you look at the picture of the actual Sumatra in the show cage you'll note that the tail carraige is quite different. The pullet in the OP is an Andalusian.

Duh...lol Sorry..I posted that at 1:03 in the morning. My brain wasn't working right...lol I know it's called a single comb, but thank you for clarifying for anyone who might have gotten confused.

And I still say she is an Andalusian or Andalusian x. Probably pure though if she came from a hatchery. And hatchery stock isn't always the best as far as type is concerned. If they have a pen with blue chickens that are labeled Blue Andalusian, and they hatch eggs they are going to call the offspring Blue Andalusian whether they are or not.

i guess somtimes its not always good to have so many strong minded, experienced chicken handlers. all in one place.
but at this point im just more concerned with how she is and not what she is

Well, I've been treating her for a few days. I almost killed her last night because she wasn't getting any better. My wife talked me into waiting one more day. Today she is eating and drinking, acting like a chicken again. So if she continues to improve, in a few months, I'll post a picture and you guys can tell each other, "I told you so"
