I got what I wanted!!! (Black Friday)

We went shopping, but the only person that bought anything for any other person was my dad. Hee hee.

My brother went out this morning and got a toolbox he had been wanting at Sears (one of those ENORMOUS Craftsman ones) for like $200. He left at like 4 am.

He came back around 6 am and went back to bed.

I wasn't as insane because my main goal over Thanksgiving Break is to enjoy sleeping in. I got out around 11:30 am. I got a few candles from Yankee Candle, and my sister got some jeans at Steve and Barry's because they're going out of business. My DH got himself a video game, a PS3 controller, and a mini mp3 player. My dad bought my mom a GPS for her car.

The crowds were okay, but I think the big crazy groups of people had already exhausted themselves and gone home.

The best place to go nuts is Target the day after Christmas. People go crazy raiding the gift wrap sales and such.

The closest we got to a store this morning was to place a tag sale sign near the exit from Walmart. So I made some money! Then my mom convinced me to go to Walmart with her when we were done and I bought a few games for my son for Christmas. Easy come, easy go.

Did you guys hear about the guy who was killed because of insane new yorkers??? (no offense, NYers, trying to lighten up a not so light issue) The people at the store all around me were nice and were trying to let people through and everything but at the same time being protective of their spots in line. They weren't being rude, and they were talkative and helpful. I don't understand how people could trample another human being to death over shopping. That's nuts!!! I'm glad that didn't happen at my wal mart....

Not many people knew that the stuff could be bought online. They all thought they HAD to be in the store in order to get everything. I also found out that the Kodak was better than the Samsung, which is awesome!!! I was a little disappointed in how light and plastic-y it felt, but at the same time I'm really impressed by the pics it takes!!! (Yes, I tried my mom's x-mas present out....LOL!) Anyways, now I have an extra camera to get rid of, wal mart will refund me the full cost (including shipping) but I'm hoping to help someone out who missed the sale. Got it posted on craigslist now....Thanks to everyone who helped me prepare for BF!!! (Did I already say that???)

Scary, huh. There was also a shooting at a California Toys R Us and two people killed each other. That wasn't related to the actual shopping but I wouldn't have wanted to be there anyway.
