i guess i am the only one who does not care for tattoos

Dr. Ruth said once that men that get tattoos on their lower arm or near there that it is to compensate for an inadequate feeling of masculinity especially when it is put in a very visible place.

I told the hubbie about that.:p Hubbie has an Angel (which is my name), then our kids names on his arm in a circle around the Angel

Maybe that is why men never get tats on their stomach.

I should have gotten a little worm tattooed on my "bosom" when I was 20. Now it would be a boa constrictor....

My former DIL got a tramp stamp of a dolphin jumping out of the water. I asked her what she thought the whale would be splashing out of in 25 years?

I have 2 tattoos. Both are symbols, stuff I believe in. Tattoos go back a long time. I remember watching about Otzi, the frozen Neanderthal found in some melting glacier, well preserved. His skin had tattoos over his body in what scientists believe were arthritis points. I thought that was really neat.

I think that what turned me off on tattoos personally was an incident that occurred when I was in Navy boot camp. It was the occasion of our first liberty and one guy came back and was showing off his wife's name tattooed on his stomach. He was in the bunk right above me and sometime in the wee morning hours my rack shook and I heard this horrific scream. He'd rolled over onto his stomach.

I've never been into injuring myself on purpose.
