My five year old Easter Egger, Chloe, had me thinking she was egg bound! At first, I thought she was broody as her feathers were puffed up and she looked annoyed when my brother opened the nesting box. But when my brother took her out, I saw she was still in the penguin like position she was in the box. I immediately thought of a stuck egg and looked up egg bound treatments. When I went back outside to check on her, she was running out of the coop and I found a kinda wet egg in the middle of the coop. Not in the nesting box, just right in the middle of the coop. Poor Chloe didn’t make it to the nesting box in time haha.
