Between the two dogs and the chickens there were never leftovers but now these guys are in the fray too!

OMG Draccus grunts too. He sounds like a pigfish, if you've ever heard one of those. It is hysterical!

I got them from a breeder/preservation farm, Holderread's the little darlings arrived within 24 hours of hatch...

I doubt your flock is dull whatsoever, you are just used to seeing them all the time. I look at mine and say "my babies, my ducks" and I see others' and think 'wow what a beautiful duck or flock'.

They will be going into breeding pairs and trios in the Spring so I will post up when the eggs are available. I will be curious to see what the fertility rate is.

PLEASE let me know when you get eggs. I fnally got a btor so now im egg crazy . Looking everywhere for different breeds

LOL okie dokie but it will be spring for sure...probably February - March ish. the will probably all winter together and then go into breeding pairs and trios in the Spring. They raise all sorts of heck olo when they are separated right now but I think when they reach maturity they won't mind as much. hahahahaha

hahahaha I know the feeling....the chickens taught us that lesson long before the ducks ever came. We just gave up, dropped the plates and made a run for it.

Well Cetawin because of you we had to give our ducks our left over spaghetti and sauce the other night. No surprise that they loved it! Our Khakis are always the boldest and always go for the treats first. I didn't get pics, but it was definitely a sight to see.
