I HATE Bumblefoot!

Yes on the Epsom.-- the slit is healing OK. Looks to be fine. When when stuck her foot with the syringe just to numb it, it had so much pressure where it was so swollen- a mixture of blood & like a clear liquid came shooting out. Then when she cut it a mixture of blood, clear liquidy, & a hard chunky puss came out. Kind of like Cottage Cheese. The bumble she had on her other foot is completely healed & the few spots Felix had on his feet are healed up. @Miss Lydia

Sounds like you have it covered good and have done what you needed to do. Bless your heart having to cut into it but sounds like she really had some infection going on. I think if you keep up the soaks she should heal just fine. Once the cut it healed I'd take off the bandage you won't have to worry about anything getting in once it's healed over.

Well everybody, after a week of soaking, washing, doctoring, & bandaging.. LOTS of stuff is working it's way out! I didn't realize how tough that puss is to get out. Poor girl. Swelling is almost completely gone down, as everything is coming out. Also still giving her the amoxicillian- which I'm sure is drying the infection up some! We're finally making progress toward the healing process! Yay!!

PS: @chickens really I know you're just teasing me! My husband does the same thing!

So, this came out of Flossys foot today! I think we got the core! It should be all up Hill from here.-- I was pulling bumble out w/ the tweezers that had worked it's way to the surface of the slit in her foot... & I squeezed just to make sure I got it all & when I did this thing flew out! I am still wowed at how big it is! But at least it is out! Woot woot!
