My husband who 'protests' my chicken hobby at every turn came in from work tonight. Guess where he went first???

Not the bathroom...

Not the kids' room....

Not to find me.....

Not to see his Mom......

Not to let in HIS precious dogs from the yard.....

Nope, came running back here to see how the baby silkies are doing. He's a closet silkie fan! I'm going to have to pull him back from the dark side and take him outside to talk to the 'real' chickens.

That is a really neat idea for the floor of that nest box, does it work well? You can probably just take out and spray off?
Do you put any straw in there when cold?
