I hate 'em too! They are the meanest lil' monsters in the coop. My males fly up to attack me everyday. Without fail. 2 roo's to go.

I must have been taken over in my sleep, I don't remember ever thinking that I luv silikies, gotta have em, but yet there are 15 of the little bugger in my shop, drinkin my beer, and playing with the tools, changin the radio station to that new Mary J. Blige rap stuff.......

I don't know how it happened, I do think I could dust the ceiling fan with them though if they get out of hand!!!

YES YOU CAN EAT SILKIES!!! THEY ARE VERY GOOD AND CONSIDERED
TO HAVE MEDICINAL VALUE. We have eaten 2 silkie roos, including my
purple avatar. If we end up with too many roos or mean or skittish
silkies then we will eat those too.

Not only is the skin black but the meat is dark and has a black layer
on it.

Can u tell the silkie in this picture?

I've eaten Silkie crosses, and yes, the meat has a weird dark coloration to it, but it still tastes like chicken. Just think of it as all dark meat.
