no worries.

My ducks have decided right by my backdoor is their new favorite place to 'camp out', I am going to fix them a box up here at my house to lock them in at night - because their behavior is suggesting there is a predator in the woods down at the neighbors (they usually sleep in the woods or in the open chicken coop right @ the woods - but haven't for the past 4 nights. so I am convinced now there is something out there - also one of the neighbor's guineas are missing - so.... yeah. Now I have another project, just when I thought I was done!

You'd think girls would be really into NASCAR.
They never use their blinkers either.

Hi! That's cold.
I don't watch sports on TV (or in person), but car-racing (a sport?) is especially boring to me.
Get a hobby you can enjoy at home (crafty-ish, maybe --- that you can do nearby while everyone else is glued to the tv). Have fun and be productive while they are sitting on their tail-feathers. I was grounded the entire summer when I was 16 (don't ask) and I learned all kind of cool things I wouldn't have picked up otherwise. I took up painting and woodworking (there were tools and lots of paint available in our shed).
Good luck! I know it's miserable to be stuck in a completely 'uninteresting situation', but that's the difference between being bored and being boring. A smart, interested person can always find find 'something entertaining to do' and is rarely bored. A boring bored person sits around and complains about how bored they are.

You need to develop some interests of your own. Don't depend on others in order to keep yourself busy and entertained. I learned very early to keep myself amused. I read, do needlework, refinish furniture, make wreaths and decorated hats. You can walk or volunteer or do jigsaw puzzles or raise flowers. Find something you enjoy doing. You won't be sorry.

my spoiled drake is inside with me now. i'm trying to get him to sleep on me. he dicided to bathe in his drinking water.... in my room

I love sundays only because I do not have to drive anywhere!

I have never watched racing except for crashes shown on the news.Dh sometimes watches sports like basketball and I will immediately leave the room.

We have 4 tv's hooked up and after 12 years of marriage I certainly feel NO obligation to stay in a room and watch something dh or the kids are watching.I will go outside and read while I hen sit. In fact I would rather be outside than inside where I have to cook and clean. The dishes are never ending. I am however looking forward to making some CC cookies and then making some cookie ice cream sandwiches with the kids.Just the cooking and cleaning part I hate.

I planted stuff yesterday, cleaned the brooder, cut the grass, watered seedlings, set mouse traps all over, and cleaned some molding insulation in the crawl space. That was my day besides the domestic duties.Oh, I did get to shoot the dinky bb gun dh got for ds.Ds also fell and cut up his arms and legs, so I was nurse mom all day cleaning and changing banadages. I was supposed to move furniture and beds around, but was to tired for that.Dh couldn't understand why I was so tired.Top it off I have poison ivy rash starting.

Today I have to go out and food shop. Now that, shopping, I really hate doing especially with 3 or 4 kids. The money runs out long before we even have a decent amount of food.

I will admit I curse at those who don't drive properly.

I have been going through boxes to sell stuff and found tons of craft activities.Lol,after years of sitting in a box the kids are painting and building with those things.

Bored? BORED? Who has time to be bored???

Sundays we catch up on all the house work, cook so we have easy to grab lunches for the week, clean the duck pens, weed the garden, clean cars, etc...

We don't do NASCAR, but in the fall and winter, football is on....we just do our chores during commercials and half time.

Maybe you need a garden of your own. That will take caare of the boredom problem right quick

never did understand the fascination some find in watching a bunch of cars drive fast in a circle...to me it is like watching paint dry or the grass grow...dull...I have never been able to even spell bord...there is always something to do...I read four books last week, tended six dogs, the birds, cleaned, laundry, grocery and feed shopping, cooking, dishes, dust chasing, vacuuming, dog training...there is always something to do...I never have trouble sleeping as I am busy all day and dead tired at night...and I am an old poop...I can run circles around my kids and they are 40 and 42...go figger...
don't do the church thing either, but that is a 'nother whole thing...
