I already have 1 bator and the guts for 3 more!!!! Mrs. AK bird brain was laughing at me this morning cause I called her and told her she is a enabler!!!! (turns out we agree my hubby is too)
I am SOOO happy!!! and I totally love comming here and checking in on my friends in other states and countries!!!! it rocks!!!!
lol i know how you feel, I'll admit im totally 110% addicted to chickens lol
i started out with 6, 2 were boys so then we had 4, then 1 disappeared and 1 died so we had 2...then we added 4 more, 2 were boys so now we had 4, then we HATCHED 3 silkies and a Safeway egg which was a very mean rooster so he went away, so we had 7
then we got 4 EE chicks and then there was 11, Then we adopted one from the SPCA so now we have 12 and this February im ordering 5-6 more chicks in the mail!!!!
lol so yeah, ur not alone'
and PS: this took like 5minutes to figure out cause i kept on forgetting things like the boys and the 1 dieing and the other one disappearing
We all really cause havoc in each other's lives...becoming extremely addicted...eventually getting chickens...getting lots and lots of chicks...and so on so forth.
Oh well, it's always for the better, or else we'd all go crazy!!!
surrrrre let me tell you about me ONLY having 6! when those 6 were 8 weeks old I was in the feedstore buying food and what did they have....5 little australorp pullets.....so home they came. I could not leave there all alone now could I?
So we now have 11 right? wrong! I am thinking...hey we are moving to a 5 acre place and I really wanted some faverolles but could not find them when I ordered my 6 girls and I really want to try a couple of cochins and and and.....soooooo the order is placed for 21 more. Why 21? Because I could not make up mind what breeds I wanted so I thought to try a bunch of them and then decide later.
