I have a 10 day old chick that is growing slowly and acting strange...

It's looking a lot better now. No food for the last 5 hours and it has pooped a lot. Here's a couple pictures of the progress:

Forgive me for I am on a mobile device and it is pain staking to read all of the wonderful replies from the community. So if I am suggesting something in duplicate.. sorry.
Has the batch ever been offered Vitamins & electros? The water dish looks clear in the O.P.
When I get short stubby chicks that start to grow - runt - act strange, it is sometimes the start of a lack of nutrient issue. The beginning of wry neck. I have 3 chicks right now that are separated in a different brooder than their hatch mates so they can be pumped full of extra Vitamins. Especially "E".
When I get off my mobile later I will read the entire thread. So forgive me for jumping in w/o reading all the entries..:)

I don't know how big your tub is but ideally it would be one of the huge 30+ inch models for that many large breed chicks.

Odds are good that eating hay and no warmer area in the brooder caused this(although at 85 they might be fine by this age) .

Hay isn't good bedding at all, it most readily impacts the crop. I do 2-3 inches of pine shavings, pretty much standard for chick raising.

I like to hang chick size feeder and waterer, they stay much cleaner hung at back height to the chicks. Zip ties on a broomstick or something suspended in notches on top of a tub or huge box works great and is easy to raise as they grow. Typically only need filling once daily depending on size.

Ever since I put the little bit of sand in their pen they've started laying down like they're comfortable, and they're more quiet than they've ever been. I can hardly tell they're there. Their crops have hardly any bulge to them and they're not throwing the food everywhere. They seem really happy now. I really appreciate all the advice. They're playing and hopping in and out of the water bowl and pecking the droplets off the sides of the container that they launch upon landing. I keep a very close eye on them and they haven't been this comfortable since I got them at 2 days old.
