My sister got her from a teacher that had a mixed batch of chicks .. Sweetie was smaller than the other chicks and she was getting picked by the other birds so my sister brought her to me. I feel in love with her disposition she wanted the the warmth of human touch. But I just didn't known what breed she was.Man o day, that is one gorgeous chicken!! Where in the world did she come from??
That's how young ones of the mottled pattern often look. My guess is mottled Java based on your description of her personality, but she looks awfully small for that breed at 3 1/2 months. If she has feathered legs I'd say mottled Cochin bantam. Here's a photo of young mottled Javas I pulled from another site. Notice that these do have golden/yellow legs-- I assume they change with age. The other possibilities are Ancona and Exchequer Leghorns but they are usually more flighty than you describe in temperament.View attachment 1124433

Sweetie is 3 1/2 months old shes been handled since she was born she loves to be held and cuddled her temperament is very sweet its why we called her sweetie. We just wished we knew what breed she was. Hoping that chicken experts out there can tell us.
Are these melted Javas?
Mottled as in Bottled.....I meant to say moulted Javas
