Sweetie is 3 1/2 months old shes been handled since she was born she loves to be held and cuddled her temperament is very sweet its why we called her sweetie. We just wished we knew what breed she was. Hoping that chicken experts out there can tell us.
No she has no feathers on her legs she has yellow golden legs and feet.I Want to say Molted cochin but she doesn't really look that 'molted' Does she have feathers on her legs?
OThat's how young ones of the mottled pattern often look. My guess is mottled Java based on your description of her personality, but she looks awfully small for that breed at 3 1/2 months. If she has feathered legs I'd say mottled Cochin bantam. Here's a photo of young mottled Javas I pulled from another site. Notice that these do have golden/yellow legs-- I assume they change with age. The other possibilities are Ancona and Exchequer Leghorns but they are usually more flighty than you describe in temperament.View attachment 1124433
