I have a chicken with **HOT** Pink on its neck!! What breed is this?

I would appreciate any help with understanding what breed this is. I thought it was a Black Giant or Black Australorp that I was getting. I've tried to research any chickens that have this color with no results.

Looks like it has been eating Poke berries.

The breed is a Barred Rock.

Plymouth Rock, Barred Rock, or Marans are my best guesses.
Where did you get this chick? It probably got into some sort of berry or pink fruit.

No way for them to get to them. They are still in a brooder. This is the only one of its kind though.

There are no chicken breeds with pink feathers. Did somebody spray it with some pink stuff? Is there anything pink it got into?

In a brooder with 10 other chickens, only fed chick feed. Nothing to get into and no, not sprayed with paint or anything else. It's a real mystery.

Just curious but do you have kids?

My two best guesses are it ate something that would leave a pink stain or, probably a little kid, decided to color the chicken.
