I have a question. About. My laying hens eggs

Only four and one was firm im giving her grower and broiler feed

Are they a meat breed?

When I have young chicks in with laying hens, and use a grower feed, I like to add a bowl of oyster shell for the hens to eat. Once they are all of laying age, they can all eat layer feed.

Here is my favorite article on calcium for layers:

Essentially, even if feeding layer feed, it is important to have a calcium supplement available on the side for your birds to pick at as needed. Everyone's metabolism is a bit different and they will eat what they need as they need it. Oyster shells are key and can be found at your farm store, are relatively inexpensive, and even a small bag will last quite awhile.
