I have a strange question

So last summer my duck laid an egg and in December we noticed something was coming out of it back end witch I found out that's his... well you know. So is it possible for my duck to be a hermaphrodite?

That certainly looks like a drake feather in that first picture. . . what does it's quack sound like? Is it a definite QUACK QUACK or a muted smokers cough like quack? Males have a low raspy sound.
Is Is possible someone played a trick on you by putting an egg in there with your duck? I would find it unusual for it to only lay one egg if it was female. . very curious.

Ive heard a lot of answers to this question, but this is the best ever! Usually its a pretty convoluted, confused answer.

I'm sure it was a duck egg it was 2 times the size of our eggs in the fridge.
