:aww I feel your heartache all the way up here. I'm so sorry. That's pretty much why I keep struggling with shipped eggs.... I'd rather they get scrambled as eggs than as live chicks.

I have never heard of anyone losing so many chicks. Just can't understand what might have happened there.
The other day my eggs did not show up on the second day and I was irritated. Three hours later my post office sent the mail lady back with my eggs.
I imagine you'll be getting your money back or another shipment of chicks. I hope these get to you.

I was hoping it was just a matter of McMurray not shipping on the date that they said they would again. What was the post mark date? (I.e how long were they in the mail?)

Yes, indeed, it doesn't cost much to track and if they print the postage, etc. on-line, it would have been free even.

I'm sorry that this happened Angie...both to you and especially to the chicks. In this day and age of technology and the ability to track packages there's no excuse for those chicks to have suffered like that. How could any postal worker ignore their peeping? I was hoping that they were mistaken and that they hadn't even shipped yet.

To bad you cant file a lawsuit for this mistake. Then they would try to never make the same mistake again. Could have been the new guys fault if they just hired someone. I am so sorry this happened to you.

There is NO way even a first class package should take 5 days to get there, IMO, much less priority.
