I know I have 2 cockerels out of 4 and now I'm wondering about these 2? They are 7 weeks old today.

Yup! I managed to hatch out 7 cockerels this spring, every single egg from that hatch, then the following hatch was 4 cockerels and 2 pullets. I've been calling this the year of the rooster.

You think? Yea we definitely have room for them for awhile, just don't want that many roosters indefinitely😂 I'll wait a few more weeks to make sure.

I would expect quite a bit more red and larger combs at this age if they are male. Granted every chick develops at their own rate, but normally this breed is pretty obvious by 4-5 weeks. 😊
