There have been these weird light yellow and black bee/wasp/hornet they are very scary and they chase us around! They don’t harm my ducks from what I have been seeing. I don’t think they are bees because they aren’t fuzzy so I think they might be wasps or hornets! Please comment if you know what type of bee or wasp or hornet they are or if you have had them too! Thank you!

If they are Honey Bee Sized with smooth yellow and black striped abdomen, sounds like Yellow Jackets. A nasty critter in the Wasp family. Watch, from a distance, where they are going in and out of the ground or coop. Regular Wasp and Hornet spray will knock out some at the entrance but you need to kill the nest. A pro is the best method, but once you get more details about what they are and where they are, more help is available...JJ

While I agree with the rest of your post, a lot of wasp sprays are toxic to chickens, so might want to see exactly how close to the ducks they're located.

EDT: I think it was @aart who had a chicken accidentally shoot another chicken in the face with Raid. It killed the pullet quickly, and I'm certain that any spray that does that would have long-term effects on a bird's health, even if it doesn't seem to do any harm.

Welcome to BYC! Do they look like any of these?
