I have lice. =(

Hopefully someone else will chip in on this, but I would try ivermectin, applied topically. It should get rid of the lice as well as internal parasites.

The poultry lice are not the sucking kind. So if the blood is treated with medication, it doesn't kill them.

The nits can be dissolved with warmed coconut oil...takes several days I have read to dissolve after application...search BYC for the thread if desired.

Wet your chicken and use 7 dust. I use a baby power bottle. (just make the holes bigger) I can just squeeze the bottle and dust comes out. Also if your chickens have a spot they like to take a dust bath. Just sprinkle a bunch of it in the dirt. I would go through the whole coop and Spray some pesticide all in it. Cause just dusting and dipping them isn't going to do the job.
