Silly girl, you don't need to make a profit off an investment to take the business deductions, just the intent to make money... sale $1 worth of eggs and you're good. You do however need reciepts, and to track it all.

We tried that and lost track ages ago,
we probably spend more time and money on these animals than ourselves...

I keep it straight in excel, and it's all there for an audit, if I'm ever asked.​

no kidding!! and you guys dont jack my money......well you do, but in a different way......haha....and you listen a lot better and actually give your opinion and share similar situations that you went through! And the best part is, theres tens of thousands of you!
