cant get it to chirp but then again its not like it was doing a lot of that over the last three days. Just seems to be banging around in there but not breaking anything which is what it has been doing since the weekend.

you are talking about the outer membrane just under the shell correct? I can not see the inner membrane as there are no complete exterior pipsIf the membrane is like tough rubber it won't get out on its own.....

Not intact as sealed but in the way and possibly like rubber....?How can the membrane be still intact and their be piping to the shell? seems there would have to be piping through the membrane first before hitting the shell. I thought one of my chicks had done this but looking at it closely and these were OEGB eggs so tiny the membrane had a slash in it.
