I have no idea what I am doing

Pics
I have been working non stop to get this little baby out. I managed to get the head out and was able to see down into the egg and there is a little yolk sac left. I tried putting him in the cup like the posts suggest but he didnt want any part of that. He is currently not quite sitting straight up in the egg but slight reclining and to the side and seems very content and not fussing just sleeping. I am praying this baby will stay that way until the remaining sac is absorbed. Keep your fingers crossed

Steven Sir, you give me hope for this old world. It's great knowing that there are SO many people, like myself, who would go to the "trouble" for a tiny little life. I already loved this place and now am sure this is THE BEST forum on the net!
Dear Hunny asked why all the trouble for a 3 dollar duck, I asked him why all the trouble for a lame mini mare..... He said hats off to you for helping. And he'd be doing the same if it were him LOL
Pictured is our $1.00 mini mare who came to us lame, sick, and with the most horrible hooves I had ever seen. She is his baby now after hundreds and hundreds of dollars in farrier care, vet bills, premium feed and hay. She will never be able to ride or drive, so in the eyes of some, she is useless. To him she is his baby. She knows it and follows him everywhere he goes, including into the chicken lot.
Gentlemen like the 2 of you are a dying breed. Thank you for caring and sharing :) and reminding Dear Hunny that there are others out there like him.
OMG how adorable and such a nice story, thank you

everything is crossed for you this baby! Just a little longer!
So its now been over 50-51 hours since external pip, correct? I just want to make a mental note for myself, for future reference.

have you picked a name yet?

:fl :fl :fl

Got your toes crossed?
Are your eyes crossed?
Is your left pinky crossed by the neighboring finger?

:lau Yep, I quack myself up!
