I posted before about ALL of my birds (what drama that became - they were mostly boys!) so I'm posting each bird that I'm trying to sort out individually this time - hopefully with more pictures and some things I've read or looked for, I'll be able to figure out what each bird is - with your help!!!

I have no idea what this bird is... She's about 4ish months old.

I don't see a real comb in my pictures besides that little patch - so based on what I read I think it looks like a walnut...

I don't see any wattles...

The legs are definitely slate/gray - which I know is tied to Americauna's... But her body just doesn't look like any of the pictures I saw - or the coloring.

Any idea on what she is?
(I am willing to go take pictures of specific body parts or to just check specific things in the morning if anyone needs more information)

Isn't EE used for any bird that will lay a blue or green egg? Basically it's like "if it doesn't fit in any other category, then it's an EE"? I'm not complaining - I couldn't fit this bird into any other group :)

But is that what EE is for, or did I read into things the wrong way? :)

Sort of. Most lay blue or green eggs but some don't. There's no actual standard for them because of so many different possible mixes that could be involved.

She does look like she has some Ameraucana in her (beard, leg color, somewhat body shape) so that is why I say EE.

So it's like a total mutt dog - and we just call it a dog? :) I'm being sarcastic - it does make sense. Also makes sense that my "purebred Americauna" is a total mutt bird (that's what they told me she was - luckily I didn't pay top dollar for her or really care if she was purebred) :)

its an ee pullet

~ an ee is a mixed breed bird that possesses/carries the blue egg gene and it can lay any color of egg and look like anything

Easter Egger pullet. Generally an Easter Egger has these traits; green or slate legs, beard and muffs, lays a blue or green egg, a mixed breed, pea or mixed comb. These are just common traits of Easter Eggers.
