No offense, but that's what happens when people buy things from Walmart. I won't shop at Walmart for that reason (among others).

They force companies that supply their products to cut costs (at ANY cost, and ultimately to the quality of the product in order to do business with Walmart)--thus making a product that sells cheaper but also doesn't last as long.

Yup, even in their fabric departments. You can occasionally find the same prints at Walmart that you see at better fabric stores, but the Walmart ones are thinner and lower quality.

Don't they already ban those things in CA.?

I have no idea, Kentucky is probably as far removed from CA as you can get.

Not really, I moved out of Bowling Green last year, and there are some crazy things in KY also.

You know, aren't you all just sick and tired of this stuff . . .its crazy. I am sick to death of hearing about what a TV can do to you, (it will be our old heating pads and hearing aids next!) when the emissions out of cars, factories (or the ones still running) and not even to mention the rivers and lakes that are just unbelievably dirty because of no watch group on that particular business that is causing us untold illness and death. This isn't the new gov. or the last gov. either, truth be told, this goes waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back when things were let go and no one did a thing. . . and NOW they want to scare us to death with gases from a TV.

Why wasn't this researched before the dang things were made and we fell in love with idea of a bigger TV for ease in viewing

. . .sorry, I just get so tired of this stuff.

If these companies are going to make stuff, then for crying out loud, CHECK it out before you turn it loose. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out something you just invented might, just might turn some dangerous gases loose. I just want to stay home in a hole on my little acreage and pull the hole in after me somedays!! Who's with me?

Well, I need my TV! How else am I going to play my video games?
