OK. If you're wanting to show birds you're going to have to pick up a standard of perfection or borrow one. That way you can see the differences.

1. The tail on the bottom bird sticks straight up in the air and is tight and compact. Signs of a production bird.
2. The top bird has a nice straight back without that "jutted up" tail. Her tail will also be more spread out rather than scrunched up when you look at her from the rear.
3. The top bird's lacing is really, really good. Bottom bird has something screwbally going on with her tail, again. Look at it, it almost looks like pencilling is in there.

This is just a rundown of what should stick out to beginners. Getting an SOP would be a definite idea if anyone is intending on showing their birds.

No, the one you took a photo of is not, and neither is the sebright, and while the speckled sussex are not awful, they're not the best I've seen either.

Like I've said though, I've done this for awhile! lol! But, did you have fun? That's the point of the entire thing!
