I have to admit that I have no patience *picture*

Go ahead and get comfy! I have silky and silky cross eggs in the bator. Tried to keep this to myself because I killed the last batch because I did not stay out of there! Very sad so I WILL NOT do it again.

I hear some cheeping and hope for a hatch this weekend also. So I am sharing this with this group because you are so entertaining!

So my fingers are crossed for everyone and lets ALL STAY OUT Of the BATOR! or Nest.

Yay!

Well I will not even admit how many times I have gone out to observe in hopes of the signs of further hatching. Nothing so far. It is so darn cute the way the mama pokes the babe back under her- I have only had chicks (broilers) as chicks under a heat lamp. This is so much more fulfilling & natural! I am hopeful for any more hatching, but grateful for even the one!

Well I am happy that I was not home yesterday. I would have worn my shoes thin walking back and forth by the incubator for nothing. I was about to give up

I found 2 pipping and now one has zipped but is not yet out. I am so excited. I just hope I get a few more. Oh well at least my shoes are safe today also, I have to leave in about an hour and won't be home till this evening. I'll post pictures as soon as I can actually see a fuzzy little butt.

I just finished my first bator hatch about 3 weeks ago. Those pieces of yolks were really gross ans the bator stunk to high heaven by the time the hatch was over. Yuck! I thought all mine were doomed cause I had temp problems but I had 28 hatch!

Yep. Hatching is hard work and he still has to learn what legs are for.

Either it's from the hatching or he dirtied his diaper.
