I have to make corn bread for 50 people...

onthespot's recipe sounds good also!! TammyTX - brunswick stew is tomato (diced) based with lima beans, potatoes, corn, onions and shredded chicken - at least that is how I make it. It is really good! I can give you exact amounts and instructions or ask SarahFair if she would give you her recipe. It is good, relatively inexpensive and goes a long way to feed a family.

Ok, I got the stuff to make a big pot of chili (yes, I do have shredded cheese - that's a must

)

and I'm gonna make a big mess of cornbread for dinner.

Oh, and I was talking to my neighbor (who is installing my dishwasher for me) and he said this guy he knows switches out the water/milk called for, substitutes creamed corn and then adds in thin slices of jalapenio peppers - now that sounds good!!

We do a cornbread with creamed corn, hamburger (browned), onions and velveeta. Not too figure friendly which might explain some things...!

My dad makes it with pork. Its really thick and SUPER good. Really the only kind I like.
I dont like the watery stuff..

I'm getting hungry with all these recipes.

I also meant to say that I use the largest cast iron skillet that they make for my recipe.
