I have to talk POLISH!

Nope, no illness. I think the little chick got its foot stuck in the corner of a cardboard box when the lady gave them to me. We pulled it out gently, but maybe it broke the little toe. It was so young then only like 2 hrs old.
 
About that toe, because it just might be broken, maybe you could try to splint it with a small stick and tape ? I like the idea of taking advantage of their sleepiness. ha ha

Love all the chick pics and congrats on the hatching news too. I have two EE broodie's that I slipped 11 Polish eggs under in addition to about 20 of their EE eggs, and they're due to start hatching next Wednesday! I sure hope I get some marshmallow heads! The eggs I gave to a friend had a really good hatch rate so I hope I get the same results. I also sold some that should be due this week if their broody did her job. This breed just makes me smile!
