I love your post to funny! You have a buff Laced Polish I call this stage the ugly stage kinda like a swan. It my not look like much right now but she or he will turn out very pretty chicken. I have the buff laced also they are so pretty I have almost all of the colors in polish chickens. I really in joy having them. They are so friendly and sweet. Any opinion on gender? The feathers on the head are not pointy, but more blunt/rounded which made us think girl not boy. Any other ways to tell? I can post a pic from a different angle if it helps.

I found this article today through a FB site I like. It is about sexing polish chicks at hatch. The lady has had 94% accuracy with this method.

I thought all the polish people would find it useful. If we get more polish I will definately be keeping this method in mind.
