I have to talk POLISH!

So question, the woman I got my silver lace from said silver laced polish are hard to come by in the US and she has the only ones in New hampshire. Is this true? She said that a judge told her there are practically no silver laced in the US.

I have not ordered from him (i plan to in the spring), but Dick Horstman sells some--google him, he has a webpage. Try calling him, i called him and he said his internet had been down and he actually had a few more varieties than was listed. The pictures of his birds are GORGEOUS and he appears to really be into show quality and improving his lines. I can't remember if his silver laced were bantam or standard.

I depends on what quality you want probably, because i know there are several hatcheries that have silver laced polish if you just want pet quality.

They aren't as easy to find in show or breeder quality, but they're out there. I have some in bantam sized. I was really lucky to get a flock of them from someone who had been breeding this line for 30+ years and was getting out of them. But I have rarely seen them here in shows in CA in either LF or Bantam sized

I have a question: is white crested cuckoo (NB) an approved color in bantams? I could not tell by looking through the SOP. I will try to post pictures of him "sometime" since I keep having a hard time uploading. Thanks!

Who did you get them from in NH?

Honestly I can't remember her name

But i'm sure I will run into her again. She had a judge come out to her house and take a look at them, he told her to buy as many as she can from hatcheries

He said the ones she had looked good but their tails were a bit low. Mine is second generation hatchery but I don't know anything about polish standard, just silkies. I will try to post a good picture of him to get opinions. Sorry the pictures aren't that good.
