I have to talk POLISH!

Hi ! Yesterday, I picked up 7 Polish to add to my two that I have (LF- Large) 1 White Crested black roo, 2 white crested black hens, 2 buff laced hens, and 2 white hens. e Pam Pittman She already told me that they are not all show quality- but the rooster makes nice babies. One of his daughters won Supreme overall grand champion (JR's) at a show yesterday. One of the hens won her daughter ribbons as well. I'm happy with them

Nice. I love buff laced too. I have two pairs of them.

Looks like a pullet to me. Looks like the feather tips are more rounded and the overall shape of the crest is more like a pouf rather than the "rock star" shape of cockerels.

Thank you, "she" is the friendliest chick I have EVER had. Won't let me take pics of anyone else, she is always hamming for the camera. I got her because I had a baddddd hatch of cream legbars, tornado, power outage, and one single little cream legbar hatched. She needed a BFF, so I bought this polish from a neighbor who hatches them.

At what age do polish typically start laying and crowing for that matter?

Crowing? 10-12 weeks. Mine seem to crow early, but it sounds really awful in the beginning.

mine started crowing at 2 months f0-or like 2 weeks then stopped then started up again at 5 months
