I have to talk POLISH!

Ugh, I hope you'll be able to help him, that looks really painful and uncomfortable

What are the varieties of polish APA and ABA recognized? I have seen lots of frizzles and lots of people with Tolbunt and other things of the like

Polish people-I am new to this breed. I have 2 white crested black (bantam) that I bought straight run from Meyer Hatchery. They are 8 weeks old and still in my brooder/cage (more nasty weather due tomorrow, so they are not in the coop yet). My husband told me today he thought he heard one crowing! Isn't this a little young or do I have an early bloomer on my hands? I have another rooster, he is a Golden Seabright, bantam also. Will these two guys be ok to get along? They will be sharing 15 ladies. Thanks, looking forward to watching these nifty birds mature!

Hi coop-er! It is very possible that he's crowing. I had one start at 7 weeks. About them being together, you will have to watch them to be sure the Seabright doesn't pull the feathers out of the Polish's head. Some get along fine, others not so much.

Thanks Mr Chicks, I am amazed a rooster will crow that young, but I am learning something new everyday with these fun birds! As I stated, I have 2 of these Polish and 1 is already pulling the feathers out of the others head.

I was shocked to hear it that early too. The others didn't crow for the longest time. Keep an eye on the feather pulling, they can really hurt each other. They are a riot though, even when they are all grown up.
